Neptune

There are numerous attractions located near-by. They include an adventure park, aquarium, racetrack, flea market, restaurants, antique shops, summer concerts in the park, museums, shopping malls, theaters, clubs with live music, state parks, hiking trails, and beaches. Among the available activities are fishing, boating, golfing, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, hiking, and antiquing.

There are more than a dozen antique shops near the motel. Several antique centers feature the collections of numerous dealers in one convenient location. Their areas of specialty include vintage linens and clothing, toys, silver, brass, china, dolls, glassware, civil war artifacts, oriental rugs, jewelry, paintings, kitchen accessories, mirrors, and furniture.

Four state parks are located a short distance from the motel. The Allaire State Park and Historic Village was established in 1830. It features working blacksmith and carpentry shops, and a bakery, as well as a living history museum. The Sea Girt Lighthouse dates back to 1896. The interior of this Victorian-era structure has been fully restored, and is open to the public on weekends.

Island Beach State Park is a nine-mile barrier island. Its vast dunes are home to black cherry, beach plum, and goldenrod. The beach is ideal for swimming and surf fishing. The Manasquan Reservoir features a five-mile perimeter trail, environmental center, and boat tours. Activities include fishing, boating, ice skating, and kayaking.
